Andy joined the Helen Adams team from a third generation real estate family within the city of Charlotte that prided itself in building quality single family homes throughout Charlotte since 1960. His first job was a part of that successful family homebuilding business, where he grew up within a real estate family. He was born in the Plaza-Midwood neighborhood, spent most of his early years in the University and NODA area, worked as a young adult for a non profit in the Cotswold community and currently lives in South Charlotte. His families building business were builders for notable neighborhoods like: Birkdale, Berwick, Landsdowne, Hembstead, Providence Plantation and more. He brings great knowledge, experience, and understanding of the local Charlotte market and knows what it takes to successfully accomplish your real estate goals.
Along with his real estate beginnings ,he has also spent 20 years in ministry and non profit work in Roanoke, VA, Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC, Brazil and Jamaica. He has served as a minister, crisis counselor, international construction trip coordinator and professor of Philosophy and Religion at Gardner-Webb University. He joined Helen Adams after the closing of the family business in 2016. He was named Rookie of the Year in his first year with the firm and has quickly became one of the firms top producers.
Andy’s passion has always been to help guide people through the journey of life. He is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University and M. Christopher White School of Divinity. He holds a Masters in Crisis Counseling and he’s spent years helping and guiding folks through the crisis moments of life from death, weddings, births life with teenagers, building homes and more.
